3 Months

Oh Roman.  You have captured our hearts!  At 3 months you are doing so many new things!  You should be nicknamed "Sir Smile-A-Lot" (that's really stupid and cheesy, I know!) because all you do is smile smile smile! You also started laughing a few weeks ago and haven't stopped since. Many people have told us that you are the happiest baby they have ever seen.  It is impossible to not absolutely fall in love with you because you are the sweetest baby ever!  You are roley-poley and we love you just the way you are!  You have attempted to roll but typically you just roll from your back to your side.  You have really started enjoying some toys.  You LOVE your taggie blankie that Sissy and Grammy made you (which mommy may have lost at the fair, eek!), your peacock toy, and anything soft and cuddly.  You enjoy siting in your bumbo for short periods of time and are warming up to tummy time.  We thank God everyday for you!

ATTENTION! ATTENTION! ATTENTION!

We all need a little attention sometimes!

One time I told Adam (very shortly after we were married) that I just needed a little bit more attention from him.  He replied by waving his arms in my face and saying loudly, "ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION!"  Haha.  Maybe you had to be there but it was really funny.


Well, I have been having a lot of trouble uploading videos on blogger but it finally let me upload this one.  It was about a week after Roman was born.  Poor Haven just wanted some ATTENTION!  :) (May 7, 2011)

two are better than one

I thought of this verse today.  It was our wedding verse and one of my favorites...

"Two are better than one,

because they have a good return for their labor:

If either of them falls down,

one can help the other up.

But pity anyone who falls

and has no one to help them up.

Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.

But how can one keep warm alone?

Though one may be overpowered,

two can defend themselves.

A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."

A Tomato????

Me:  Haven, we need to go downstairs and pick up your toy room.  It is a huge mess!

Haven:  Yeah, a tomato went through it!

Me:  You mean a tornado?  Haha.
