Last night Adam was reading a book to Haven when suddenly she looked at him with a funny look and started petting and pulling on his eyebrows. Here is the conversation that follows:
Adam: What are you doing?
Haven: I don't like your eyebrows.
Adam: Why not?
Haven: Because they are stringy.
Me: Poor Haven. If you only knew you had your daddy's eyebrows! :)

Haven's ABC's
Haven's version of the ABC's:
"ABCKLP Next time won't you sing with me?"
It's always the same and she says it pretty quickly...Here's a video! (Plus you get to see a little of her sassiness!)

Potty Wars
If you read my blog, you may remember a recent post entitled "Binkie Wars". Well, we are on to phase two of big transitions for Haven prior to baby brother arriving in April. Here are the phases:
1. Get rid of the beloved binkie....check!
2. Potty Training...in process
3. Big Girl Bed...yet to come
So potty training. Fun times. Haven is actually doing wonderfully, we are just having a few problems and I was hoping for some insight...
Since I am home with Haven and able to spend a lot of time with her on potty training we decided to go straight to underwear. My plan was to put her in pull-ups only for naps, diapers for bedtime, and put plastic covers over her underwear when we went in public. WELL, we have stuck to everything except the going out in public thing. After 1 1/2 weeks she stays dry all day EXCEPT she refuses to poop in the potty. She does so well with everything else but I find myself getting nervous when we get about half way through the day b/c I just know that she is going to poopy in her panties. And that, my friends, is so nasty! Plus, it is a lot of work to clean up everyday (pretty sure it takes a very talented person to take poopy underwear off of a child and not get it all over the child, all over yourself, and more times than not the poop plops on the floor in my experience...sick) and I can't afford to provide a brand new pair of underwear everyday if I were to just throw the poopy ones away. So, I sometimes put her in a pull up at home and in public. She actually does not potty in the pull-up. Just poop.
Does anyone have any ideas/past experiences on how to get her to go poopy in the potty? She seems almost scared to do it. She will go potty and then five minutes poop her pants. HELP PLEASE! :) I know it may just be a waiting game and she will get it eventually but I am hoping someone has an idea that will magically work. ;)
To be continued...

A few more Havenisms...
Sorry, I am not trying to brag about how adorable and fun my daughter is (ok, maybe a little bit!). I post these things more for myself so I can remember. As my mom always says, "Write the funny things down or you will forget!" So, this is my way of recording Haven's silliness and sweetness!
1. Haven: "Mommy, what's on my two-head?"
Me: "What's a two-head?"
Haven: "Oh, I mean my 'four'-head."
2. Me: "Wow! You are such a big girl!"
Haven: "I not a big girl, I'm a Haven!"

Havenisms...
Oh Haven Annabelle. You make us smile!
Here are some of Haven's newest...
1) "Mommy. I'm so proud of you!" or "Mom! You did a good job!" (I love having my own personal cheerleader!) :)
2) "I'll do that when I get older."
3) She has realized that her daddy is also mommy's husband. She thinks it is stinking hilarious to say, "Daddy is MY husband and he is YOUR daddy!" Then she will laugh and argue with me about it. haha.
4) She has learned her full name and now is obsessed with asking people, "What's your full name?" She will go on to ask, "What's your mom's full name...etc. etc." It is quite interesting.
5) She loves to ask random people (usually the check-out lady), "Where's your kids?" or "Is there a baby in your tummy?" This can be very embarrassing and/or offensive in some cases!
6) She also loves to say, "Everyone...look at me!" She loves to be the center of attention. We are working on humility.
7) She is really into "reading" her bible and "journaling". It is so cute. She got a Hello Kitty notebook in her stocking. She was so excited and yelled, "Look guys! It's my journal!!!"
8) Haven has made it clear that her baby brother should be named either Baby Jesus or Cinderella.
9) "I like these bouncy things! (referring to blueberries)
10) "Will you be my friend, Mommy?"
11) "I will have a bagel, no cream please." I thought she was ordering coffee until she showed me the cream cheese in the fridge. haha.
12) Me: "Haven, you are goofy!"
Haven: "No, I'm Haven. Goofy is with Mickey Mouse!"
It's never a dull day at the Cline house!
